[ ]The Away Board
A lot of people have lives outside of Hogwarts. Many people go on vacations for the holidays or get super busy at school. If you are one of these people that have to be or go somewhere and don't have time to post anything, then please post here so teachers, staff and admins know where you are.

►CHARACTER CREATION◄
►HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT & WIZARDRY◄
[ ]The Ground Floor
The ground floor; typically one of the busiest floors to be frank. Students are always on the move down here - not only that, our resident caretaker can be found stalking the walls with his fanciable self. Students are permitted to eat in the great hall - meals are provided obviously. The beginning of the grand staircase is situated on this floor - for students to come and go as they please.
00
[ ]Below Ground Floor (2 sub-boards)
For all your below ground floor needs; the Slytherin and the Hufflepuff common rooms are situated below the ground floor. Though you may need to take a detour from each one - as the Slytherin common room is situated in the dungeons. The kitchens can also be found here, where the house elves work to please our students. The Potions classroom and its master are also below ground level, so take note of where your lessons are situated.
00
[ ]The First Floor
Not much goes on in the first floor; we have two classrooms for students, which are Muggle Studies and History of Magic. Herbology lessons are also situated on the first floor - though they are not inside the castle as such. A girls' bathroom that seems to get more usage than the one on the second floor resides here.
00
[ ]The Second Floor
The second floor tends to be crowd-free, because of our Headmistresses headquarters. Though there are the few oddballs who think they can take a stroll on the Second Floor Corridor after hours, and get off scot free. There are no classes here sadly, but there is an office. Moaning Myrtle's bathroom can also be found on this floor - though it's hardly ever in use.
00
[ ]The Third Floor
The third floor can be quite busy at some points - generally because of the mischievous kids who wander each and every hall. We have the one-eyed witch passage - which allows students to sneak to Hogsmeade. Also included is the trophy and armour room, as is the library; which tends to be more on the quiet side -- unless you want an earful from our current librarian. There are also two classrooms, and the once forbidden third floor corridor.
00
[ ]The Fourth Floor
The fourth floor tends to be quiet, which includes the storage room, the fourth floor corridor and the boys' bathroom.
00
[ ]The Fifth Floor
With the detention hall close by; the floor can get pretty rambunctious - especially if a Professor leaves students unattended. The Prefects' bathroom is situated here - though nowhere near the detention hall. The ballroom and the fifth floor corridor can be found here; as can the cauldron cupboard, which young couples tend to hit instead.
00
[ ]The Sixth Floor
A very quiet floor here; not much happens on the sixth floor, leaving the boys alone to strike up mischief in their wake. However, the Ancient Runes Professor is lurking not far away, so the plans are usually foiled. There is a the lowly east wing and a disused bathroom hiding in the midsts, though
00
[ ]The Seventh Floor
The seventh floor can be quite undetected - though the room of requirement makes it quite debatable. The room of requirement does serve for lusting couples at some points in time - though mischief makers tend to get their hands on it first. Classrooms and offices can be found a way away on this floor, but students still tend to be on the look-out.
00
[ ]The Towers
The towers tend to be the rowdiest of them all - not only does the Gryffindor Tower reside here, the Ravenclaw Tower does too; though they tend to be more on the quiet side. There are towers upon towers to choose from, and with the Owlery also something to check out. The Divination classroom is also found, as is the Clock Tower and the Bell Towers.
00
[ ]The Grounds
Exploring the grounds is what lies here; though many tend to pop off to see the Quidditch matches in all their glory. However, The Forbidden Forest and the Lake are a good find - as are the many nooks and crannies of this magnificent land you can start to explore

►THE WIZARDING WORLD◄
[ ]Kings Cross Station
King's Cross Station is considered one of the main train stations to serve London, England. Students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry take the scarlet steam engine named the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts from Platform 9¾ on September the first at eleven o'clock sharp. It also serves as a major intercity and commuter rail hub for Muggles going to North London, or Yorkshire and the North East and Scotland
00
[ ]Diagon Alley (3 sub-boards)
Diagon Alley is a cobbled wizarding alley and shopping area located in London, England behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. Inside the alley is an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights. All items on the Hogwarts supply list can be bought at Diagon Alley. The alley is completely hidden from the Muggle world which is right outside of its boundaries.
00
[ ]Knockturn Alley
Knockturn Alley is a shopping area off Diagon Alley in London. It is filled with shops devoted to the Dark Arts, including Borgin and Burkes, which specialises in objects that have curious and strong magical properties. Usually, unusual and dangerous people walk around there. From the shops, one can purchase many types of dark objects, which include poisonous candles, shrunken heads, giant spiders, human-looking fingernails, and Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent.
00
[ ]Hogsmeade
Hogsmeade Village, or simply Hogsmeade is the only all-wizarding village in Britain. It was founded by Hengist of Woodcroft. Hogsmeade is located at the northwest of Hogwarts Castle. Students may sometimes come on weekend trips, but only third year students and above with guardian permission are allowed to visit. Mainly, students frequent the High Street in the village which contains the named specialty shops and pubs such as Zonko's Joke Shop and Honeydukes. Otherwise, they wander on to observe the infamous Shrieking Shack. It is also near the location of the train station used by the Hogwarts Express.

►CASTLE GROUNDS◄
[ ]Gamekeeper's Hut
The gamekeeper's hut is located on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Rubeus Hagrid, the gamekeeper, has lived here for many years.
00
[ ]The Lake
The Black Lake is a large body of water located to the south of the castle. It is about half a mile in diameter and the Hogwarts plumbing network drains into it. It is home to a giant squid and a colony of Merpeople.
00
[ ]Care of Magical Creatures
An elective course that can be taken by students Third year and above. In the class, students learn about a wide range of magical creatures, from flobberworms to Fire crabs, and even unicorns and thestrals. Students are taught about feeding, maintaining, breeding, and proper treatment of these various creatures.
00
[ ]The Forbidden Forest
The forest borders the edges of the school grounds. It's strictly off limits to students - except in the case of detention, or Care of Magical Creatures lessons that occasionally take place there. Of course, with the various dangerous creatures living in the Forest, few students would probably even want to venture into it.
00
[ ]Greenhouses and Gardens
There are at least three greenhouses in which Herbology classes are held, under supervision. Greenhouse Three is restricted to students as it houses dangerous plants.
00
[ ]Covered Bridge
The bridge appears derelict, and is constructed of wood beams which extend to the floor of the ravine it lays across. The roof of the Covered Bridge is sagging and appears thatched and tarred. The bridge blends in with the natural environment surrounding it. At the end of the covered bridge there is a small stone gazebo with benches.
